The Job: IT Help Desk Specialist

We are currently recruiting an entry-level IT Help Desk Specialist to join a growing team and provide technical support to customers and users. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates who enjoy technology, solving problems, and helping people.

In this role, you'll troubleshoot technical issues, answer questions, and help customers understand and successfully use technology and systems. You'll work with internal teams to find solutions while building hands-on experience in technical support, troubleshooting, customer service, and IT operations. Previous experience is not required, but is welcomed.

What You Will Be Doing As An IT Help Desk Specialist:

Serve as a point of contact for customers and users experiencing technical issues
Troubleshoot hardware, software, system, and application-related problems
Explain technical information and system functions clearly to customers with varying levels of technical knowledge
Manage support requests from initial contact through resolution
Research issues, identify potential solutions, and escalate more complex problems when necessary
Document customer issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within internal systems
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical and customer support issues
Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been successfully resolved
Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve the support experience
Build knowledge of company systems, products, and technology through hands-on experience

Technical Aptitude: Comfortable with computers, software, and technology and excited to continue building technical knowledge
Customer Focus: Enjoys helping others, listening to their needs, and creating a positive support experience
Problem Solving: Able to troubleshoot issues, ask the right questions, and work logically toward a solution
Communication: Comfortable explaining technical information in a clear and approachable way
Patience: Able to remain helpful and professional when working with customers who may be frustrated or unfamiliar with technology
Organization: Able to manage multiple support requests, document information accurately, and follow issues through to resolution
Adaptability: Comfortable learning new systems, tools, and technologies in a changing environment
