Plush Rose Blowout Bar Salon is hiring a confident, licensed hairstylist to join our team inside the Main Exchange at Fort Leonard Wood.
Although our name is Plush Rose Blowout Bar, we are a full-service salon specializing in healthy hair and an exceptional guest experience. We are a structured, team-based salon where professionalism, customer service, and consistency come first.

Every Plush Rose stylist is expected to confidently perform the services offered on our menu, including:
- Blowouts
- Silk Press
- Haircuts & Trims
- Hair Color
- Conditioning & Repair Treatments
- Relaxers
- Perms
- Loc Re-twists
- Simple Updos
- Shampoo & Conditioning Services
- Hot Towel Treatments
- Clip in Extensions
- Basic Facial Waxing (if trained)
Our Standards
Every guest deserves exceptional service, regardless of their hair texture or the service they book.
Because of that, all stylists are expected to work with all hair textures and perform every service offered on our menu. We do not assign guests based on hair type or allow stylists to decline services that are part of our salon menu.
We provide ongoing training to help you grow and refine your skills, but applicants should already have a solid technical foundation and be able to work independently.
Just as important as technical ability, we're looking for someone who is kind, professional, dependable, coachable, and genuinely enjoys taking care of people. We believe great customer service is just as important as great hair.
Qualifications
- Active Cosmetology License (any U.S. state accepted)
- Salon experience preferred, but we will consider less experience if you demonstrate strong technical skills, confidence, and a willingness to learn
- Comfortable performing services independently
- Comfortable working with all hair textures
- Strong blow-drying, finishing, cutting, and color skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Must pass the background screening required for Fort Leonard Wood access
