Full Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

Design & engineer custom equipment to specifications. This includes new designs and modifying old designs. Will need to collaborate with Electrical & Software engineering departments during design.
Will interface with project managers and customers as necessary.
Will prepare complete drawings using Inventor 2023 & AutoCAD. This is to include assembly drawings, machining details, pneumatic schematics, water schematics, & hydraulic schematics to fully document the project.
Will build & maintain complete bill of materials using Visual Mfg, specify purchased parts, and guide purchasing if substitute parts are necessary.
Will interface with shop to guide in the building of equipment. This will include assembly department, machining department, wiring department & some outside vendors.
Revise drawings as necessary to document the build of the machinery.
Produce spare parts lists, recommended maintenance documents for the customer.
Limited travel.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (Degree not required if you have proven experience)
Demonstrate knowledge of Inventor and AutoCAD.
Good communication skills both verbal & written.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Five years of relevant experience designing machinery or mechanical systems. This is a must.
Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office

Salary: $60,000.00 to $95,000.00 /year (more than 5 years proven relevant experience will equate to a higher starting salary than shown)
