This role is best suited for someone who prefers leading from the floor rather than from behind a desk. You'll spend much of your time coaching leaders, supporting staff, improving workflows, partnering with physicians, and helping departments perform at their highest level.

Many successful candidates have progressed from direct patient care into leadership roles, including backgrounds such as Medical Assistant, LPN, RN, Surgical Technologist, CNA, or similar clinical experience. While not required, candidates with practical healthcare experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do
As Director of Clinical Operations, you'll partner closely with physicians, the Executive Director, and department leaders to oversee multiple clinical and patient-facing departments while creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop department managers and future leaders.
- Improve workflows, staffing, patient flow, and operational efficiency.
- Coach leaders through real-time operational challenges.
- Partner with physicians to improve provider support and patient care.
- Strengthen employee engagement, communication, and accountability.
- Develop and implement operational improvements across multiple departments.
- Monitor key operational and financial performance indicators.
- Champion an exceptional patient experience across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Help guide the continued growth and operational excellence of the organization.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
- Five or more years of progressive healthcare leadership experience overseeing multiple departments or service lines.
- A proven ability to develop leaders, build high-performing teams, and improve operations.
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience leading change while maintaining a positive, patient-centered culture.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field. Equivalent leadership experience will also be considered.
Preferred experience includes Plastic Surgery, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Medical Aesthetics, Specialty Medicine, Wellness, or other outpatient healthcare settings.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $150,000–$175,000 annually, depending on experience.
