Overview
Fast growing, privately owned Dental Clinic on Lancaster Drive. This clinic has served the local community for over 30 years and was recently purchased by the previous Associate Dentist, Dr. Rasmussen. We are seeking a hard-working, friendly, and organized receptionist to oversee the daily operations of our front desk. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth administrative processes. We are searching for a reliable team member with a hard working spirit, a desire to learn, has excellent communication skills, and has a solid background in customer service/support. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring their visit runs smoothly.

Duties

Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and answering inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
Handle multi-line phone systems, schedule appointments, and manage payments.
Manage patient files and update information using our dental software while following all HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy.
Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance related inquiries.
Collect payments and provide accurate financial information to patients.
Coordinate with managers, hygienists, assistants, and dentists to ensure efficient patient flow.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk and lobby area.

Requirements

Previous experience working in a dental or medical clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is preferred.
Proficient in using office software applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
Bilingual candidates are highly desired in order to better serve our diverse patient base, but it is not a requirement.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong typing and communication skills, and attention to detail for accurate data entry and documentation.
Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and support.
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
