Full Job Description

Job Summary
Join our compassionate healthcare team as an evening shift, PRN, or weekend Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, hands-on assistance to individuals in various health conditions during the weekend shifts. Your energy, professionalism, and commitment to patient well-being will help ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for all. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a diverse clinical environment and contribute to exceptional patient care on weekends.

*Health Insurance is only available for full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week*

Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, ensuring timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques to maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals in acute care, long-term care, assisted living, hospice, or behavioral health settings to deliver comprehensive patient support.
Maintain infection control standards by practicing proper hand hygiene and using personal protective equipment (PPE) diligently.

Requirements

Valid CNA certification recognized by the state.
Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Point Click Care, or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation.
Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques essential for delivering safe patient care.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
Experience caring for patients with complex needs including infectious diseases or behavioral health conditions is highly desirable.
