Kickback Jack’s is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Restaurant Kitchen Manager / Chef with a strong history of leading and developing people, running a high-volume kitchen, and delivering consistent results.
Our kitchens are professional, high-volume show kitchens equipped with top-of-the-line equipment. We’re looking for a leader who takes pride in operational excellence but also understands that great restaurants are built by great teams.

The Role
As our Kitchen Manager / Executive Chef, you’ll take ownership of kitchen operations while developing a team capable of performing at a high level in a busy restaurant environment.
You’ll be responsible for creating the structure, standards, and accountability that keep the kitchen running smoothly - from food quality and execution to team development, productivity, and financial performance.
What You’ll Own
- Daily kitchen operations in a high-volume restaurant
- Food quality, consistency, presentation, and execution
- Kitchen staffing, training, coaching, and ongoing development
- Building an engaged, accountable, high-performing team
- Food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and organization
- Inventory, ordering, managing food cost, waste, and operational controls
- Labor management and overall kitchen productivity
- Equipment standards and overall kitchen readiness
- Execution against restaurant performance standards and financial goals
- Creating a positive, results-driven kitchen culture
What We’re Looking For
Our strongest candidates are experienced kitchen leaders who:
- Have kitchen management, culinary leadership, or comparable restaurant management experience
- Have experience in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Know how to build systems and maintain strong operational standards
- Understand food cost management, labor management, inventory control, and key back-of-house performance indicators
- Can recruit, train, coach, and retain strong team members
- Lead with urgency, accountability, and a positive attitude
- Take pride in both the results they produce and the team they build
- Growth-minded & invested in their own development as a part of joining a successful organization and team
Your Performance Is Rewarded
We believe great leaders become even more valuable as they grow with us and we are proud two offer both a tenure-based bonus program and a performance-based bonus program.
In addition to competitive base compensation, our Restaurant Managers have the opportunity to earn quarterly performance bonuses based on restaurant level performance and overall financial management.
We also offer a retention bonus totaling an additional $20,000 spread over your first five years of employment, on top of base salary and earned quarterly bonuses.
