Gymnastics Unlimited Salida is looking for part-time/full time coaches!
GU Salida is looking for energetic and fun coaches that are career minded to join our team! If you are enthusiastic about being a part of the movement to improve the health and lives of kids, this is the job for you! We are looking for committed coaches to teach our recreational gymnastics, kinder/tot, ninja classes, camps, and events.
Our programs teach kids how to safely move through obstacles, progress through gymnastics or parkour skills, gain balance, flexibility, agility and strength. We provide a clean, safe and fun environment for our kids to not only develop their athletic skills, but to create friendships and life skills that will last a lifetime. We also strive to provide one of the best, upbeat, fun, inclusive and rewarding work environments possible.
Experience with gymnastics, martial arts, dance, cheer, or other coaching or teaching is a plus, but not required! We will provide you with the training you need!
Responsibilities & expectations
-Create a fun and exciting environment! Kids come to have fun!
- Serve as a positive example for all students
- Be attentive to the students
- Encourage all students with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Ensure safety of all students
- Update parents on behavior and progress
-Spot students. Move and set-up gymnastics equipment. (Must be able to lift 50lbs minimum)
-Develop and maintain a positive relationship with athletes, parents, and other staff members.
-Teach proper technique for all gymnastics skills.
