Full Job Description

Overview

DPOK is a non-profit organization that is growing and needs a Systems Specialist to add to the team! As a Systems Specialist, you will assist people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to gain access to services by maintaining accurate records and supporting the smooth functioning of our database systems. Your technical proficiency and organizational skills will ensure data integrity and confidentiality, enabling us to serve our customers efficiently and effectively. For this position, experience working in the I/DD service system or an administration setting is strongly preferred. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule that includes being off work at 12:30pm on Fridays. This position also includes a competitive benefit package that includes a monthly cash benefit allowance, health, dental, disability and life insurance, along with a 403 (b) savings plan and KPERS.

Duties

Perform precise data entry into spreadsheets and database systems to ensure accurate record-keeping
Manage and organize files, both digital and physical, to facilitate quick retrieval and secure storage
Utilize Microsoft Office productivity software, including Word and Excel, for document creation, data analysis, and reporting
Conduct data collection activities, verify information accuracy, and update records regularly
Handle confidential information with discretion while maintaining high standards of data security and privacy

Experience

Proven clerical experience or office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel for data analysis and spreadsheet management
Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure error-free records and filing systems
