Position- Full time Registered Nurse (RN)
shift- 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Rate: $29.00 - $43.00 Hourly
Location- Salina, KS

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across diverse clinical settings, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes quality care, professional growth, and collaborative practice. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Duties

Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories.
Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and immunizations, following aseptic techniques.
Manage complex clinical procedures such as catheterizations, suturing, wound care, and ventilator management.
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for documentation and medical records management.
Provide specialized care in areas such as critical care, trauma medicine at Level I/II trauma centers, ICU, PICU, neonatal resuscitation procedures, and emergency medicine.
Coordinate patient care plans including discharge planning, case management, and collaboration with physicians in outpatient or inpatient settings.
Conduct diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory specimen collection/processing and interpret diagnostic results.

Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant jurisdiction.
Proven experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, critical care units (ICU/PICU), or long-term care facilities.
Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and laboratory procedures.
Experience with advanced nursing skills such as IV insertion/infusion therapy, tube feeding management, ostomy care, and infection control protocols.
