Full Job Description

Location: Remote (must be licensed in California)

Compensation: Commission based, 1099, with competitive splits and opportunities for benefits

Park Place Collective is seeking an experienced and self driven Mortgage Loan Officer to join our growing team. This is a 100% remote position open to licensed originators anywhere in California. The ideal candidate has an established referral base, is comfortable originating purchase business, and wants strong mentorship and operational support behind them as they grow.

We are an integrated mortgage brokerage, real estate brokerage, and life insurance firm based in San Diego, CA.

Key Responsibilities

Originate residential mortgage loans, including Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, and Non QM products
Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, referral partners, and past clients to generate purchase business
Guide borrowers through the loan process and provide clear, timely communication from application to closing
Analyze borrower financials and recommend appropriate loan products and structures
Ensure loan files meet federal, state, and investor compliance requirements
Work with our in house processing team to keep files clean and closings on schedule
Stay current on lending guidelines, market trends, and pricing

Qualifications

Active California mortgage loan originator license (NMLS) in good standing
2+ years of experience as a Loan Officer or Mortgage Loan Originator
An established book of business, including past clients and referral partners
Working knowledge of purchase transactions, not refinance only
Strong knowledge of mortgage products and underwriting guidelines
Excellent communication, sales, and relationship building skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Proficient with loan origination systems and digital documentation tools
