Summary of Position:
The Maintenance Mechanic 2 (MM2) position conducts machine setup, repairs, and preventive maintenance services. Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

· Ensure cleanliness around the facility, freezer, and production area.
Job Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
2. Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
3. Repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as motors, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools.
4. Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
5. Assemble production machinery which includes setting and aligning:
a. Bearings, Shafts, Belts, Gears, Sprockets, Chain, Knives
6. Lubricates and cleans parts
7. Metal Working
a. Cutting, Grinding, Drilling
8. Comply with OSHA safety and health rules
- Be able to complete forklift certification
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Technical training; exposure to high-speed equipment.
· 2+ years of related experience in packing machines/production machines.
- Will report to the Maintenance Manager
- Bilingual is a plus

4. Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
5. Repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as motors, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools: Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
6. Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
7. Assemble production machinery which includes setting and aligning:
