Step into a dynamic full-time contract opportunity working within a supportive school environment for the upcoming academic year. Utilize your skills as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to positively impact students' communication growth. This role is situated near Monterey, CA, and is designed for motivated professionals who thrive on making a difference each day.

Qualifications:

Valid SLPA license or certification, meeting all state requirements
Previous experience supporting speech-language therapy in a school or pediatric setting
Solid communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, teachers, and families
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to maintaining accurate records and following prescribed therapy programs
Adaptability and reliability in dynamic educational environments

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language support to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals using activities developed by the supervising SLP
Assist with screening and informal assessments as directed
Maintain detailed documentation on student progress and session outcomes
Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech and language strategies in the classroom
Participate in staff meetings or professional development activities as required
