Full Job Description

Job Title: RN- ICU
Location: Salinas, CA- 93901 (On Site)
Duration: 13 Weeks + Highly Possible Extension
Shift: Nights- 5*8= 40 Hours

Job Description:

Responsible for providing safe, individualized nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU. Performs patient assessments, develops and implements care plans, evaluates patient responses, and collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Provide and coordinate nursing care based on patient needs.
Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education.
Monitor and evaluate patients' physiological, psychosocial, and developmental needs.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR.
Provide safe, quality, and cost-effective patient care.
Follow hospital policies, safety procedures, and nursing standards.
Participate in teamwork, conflict resolution, performance improvement, and staff education.
May serve as a preceptor or charge nurse as assigned.

Requirements:

Active California RN License.
ASN/ADN required; BSN preferred.
Current BLS certification through AHA.
Epic experience required — 6–12 months within the past year.
ICU/critical care nursing experience preferred.

Pay: $74.00 - $81.00 per hour
