Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in busy kitchens and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, contributing to menu planning, and ensuring that all food service standards are met. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in menu planning, including the selection of seasonal ingredients and special dietary options.
Ensure all food is prepared and presented in an appealing manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and safety protocols.
Adapt recipes for special dietary needs as required by the dietary department.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook in a fine dining or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and sanitation standards.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Experience with menu planning and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
