About Shore Home Construction

Shore Home Construction is one of Delmarva's premier residential and commercial remodeling contractors. We specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, additions, roofing, siding, windows, outdoor living spaces, and commercial renovations. We pride ourselves on professionalism, communication, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from the first phone call through project completion.

We are looking for an organized, proactive, customer-focused Office Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats.

Position Summary

The Office Manager serves as the hub of our organization. This person is responsible for creating an exceptional first impression for every customer while keeping our office running efficiently.

This is not simply a receptionist position. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, solves problems before they become issues, and helps keep projects, customers, and employees organized.

ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience

Answer incoming phone calls professionally and courteously
Greet customers and visitors
Schedule appointments and consultations
Respond promptly to customer inquiries
Maintain excellent communication throughout projects
Resolve customer concerns or direct them to the appropriate team member

Administrative Duties

Manage calendars and scheduling
Maintain customer files and documentation
Prepare contracts, proposals, and project paperwork
Assist with permits and project documentation
Order office supplies and maintain inventory
Process incoming and outgoing mail
Manage company email inboxes

Operations Support

Support sales and production teams
Track project documentation and deadlines
Coordinate internal meetings
Help maintain CRM and project management software
Assist with vendor communication
Follow up on outstanding customer items
Continuously improve office systems and processes

Financial Support

Process invoices and receipts
Assist with accounts payable and receivable
Collect customer payments
Maintain organized financial records
Work with the accounting team as needed

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of administrative or office management experience
Outstanding customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and demeanor
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
Experience with CRM, estimating, or construction management software is a plus
