Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Shop Technician to join our team in Salisbury, United States. As a Machine Shop Technician, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, operating various manufacturing machines, tools and test equipment to produce high-quality parts and components.

Set up, operate, and maintain the following manufacturing machines and tools as well as test equipment:
- Milling, Drilling and Routing on LPKF Router
- Dicing/Chip Saw
- Soldering Iron
- Laser Printer and Welder
- Gross Leak Chamber
- Portable Leak Detector
Experience using Circuit Cam and Boardmaster software for design
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to produce parts to specification
Use precision measuring instruments to ensure product quality and accuracy
Perform regular quality checks and maintain detailed records of production activities
Monitor machine performance and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues as they arise
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a machine shop environment with proficiency in using machines and tools such as:
- Milling, Drilling and Routing on LPKF Router
- Dicing/Chip Saw
- Soldering Iron
- Laser Printer and Welder
- Gross Leak Chamber
- Portable Leak Detector
Experience with Circuit CAM and Boardmaster
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Experience with precision measurement tools and quality control procedures
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and metal fabrication techniques
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Willingness to work flexible shifts as needed
Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident to meet ITAR Requirements
