Peer Support Navigator (Full-Time)

Grant-Funded Position (FY27 CRRF)
Recovery Resource Center (RRC) is seeking a compassionate Peer Support Navigator to provide non-clinical, recovery-informed support to individuals and families impacted by substance use. This full-time role is 100% funded through the FY27 Community Reinvestment & Repair Fund (CRRF) and focuses on hope, connection, and helping participants build recovery capital and stability.
What You’ll Do
- Build trusting, supportive relationships grounded in lived experience.
- Provide peer support in groups and one-on-one settings.
- Help individuals and families identify strengths, set goals, and access community resources.
- Support workshops, groups, and recovery-focused events.
- Collect required CRRF participant data and submit monthly reports.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and Maryland confidentiality laws.
- Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training toward Maryland Peer Recovery Specialist certification.
Minimum Qualifications
- 12 months of continuous recovery from substance use or co-occurring disorders.
- Commitment to personal recovery and appropriate sharing of lived experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working in dynamic recovery environments.
- Willingness to complete required peer recovery training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of local recovery and family support resources.
- Experience in peer-led or recovery-focused programs.
- Familiarity with harm reduction and trauma-informed practices.

Funding Notice
This position is fully grant-funded through the FY27 CRRF. Employment is contingent upon continued grant funding and is not guaranteed beyond the grant period.
Pay: $16.50 per hour
