Full Job Description

Lead. Machine. Build Critical Equipment.

$42–$55+ per hour DOE

If you're a top-tier machinist ready to lead, this is not a desk job—and it's not a babysitting role.

At Prime Machine, you'll run advanced equipment, solve complex machining challenges, and lead a team that supports mining, power generation, defense, and aerospace customers. When critical equipment fails, customers call us because downtime is measured in thousands of dollars per hour and they need solutions fast.

Most machine shops run production. Prime Machine solves problems.

One week you may be machining a critical gearbox component for a power generation outage. The next week you may be helping recover equipment for a mine shutdown or manufacturing precision parts for mission-critical defense and aerospace applications.

If you enjoy challenging work and want to lead a team that tackles jobs other shops won't touch, you'll fit in here.
