Job Title: Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager

Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and structured Quality & Continuous Improvement manager to lead quality systems, defect reduction initiatives, and cross-functional process improvement efforts within a growing manufacturing organization.

This role is responsible for transforming operational challenges into measurable, repeatable systems that reduce rework, improve reliability, and elevate overall product quality. The ideal candidate thrives in manufacturing environments, understands root cause analysis, and can lead accountability across departments without direct authority.

Key Responsibilities

Lead quality issue investigation and structured root cause analysis.
Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Track quality metrics, trends, and recurring defects.
Partner with production, engineering, and field teams to resolve issues at the source.
Create and maintain documentation supporting quality standards and compliance.
Develop dashboards and reporting for leadership visibility.
Drive initiatives that improve first pass yield and reduce cost of poor quality.
Facilitate structured review meetings focused on accountability and closure.
Support the development of scalable systems as the organization grows.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, operations, or continuous improvement.
Experience leading root cause investigations (5-Why, Fishbone, etc.).
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or comparable tools.
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional accountability.
Experience in aluminum, fabrication, construction systems, or similar industries preferred.
