SWEAT440 Door-to-Door Presale RepresentativePosition Overview

SWEAT440 is a high-energy boutique fitness studio launching in Herriman in August/September 2026. We're building a community of members who own their fitness on their own schedule. This is a seasonal presale role selling founding memberships directly to homeowners in the Herriman area before our opening.

You'll be responsible for generating membership sales through face-to-face outreach. This is a high-activity, commission-driven role for people who thrive on personal interaction and closing deals.

Timeline: Immediate start through Sep 1, 2026 (or possibly later)
Location: Herriman, Utah and surrounding areas
Schedule: Flexible hours, typically 1pm-9pm (weekdays and weekends)

What You'll Do

Daily Activities

Conduct door-to-door outreach in assigned residential territories to engage potential members
Deliver persuasive presale pitches highlighting SWEAT440's value: member-first culture, flexible scheduling, high-energy group fitness
Qualify prospects and assess buying signals in real time
Close founding memberships on the spot using proven sales techniques
Maintain accurate records of all contacts, pitches, and conversions
Meet daily activity targets and weekly sales quotas

Responsibilities

Own the full sales cycle from first contact through membership sign-up
Handle objections confidently and pivot when needed
Educate homeowners on SWEAT440 brand positioning: "NEVER LATE. YOUR WORKOUT. YOUR TIME"
Leverage founding member pricing tiers ($129 entry level through $169) strategically
Coordinate appointment scheduling with studio for member consultations and trials when needed
Collect clean lead data and maintain CRM accuracy
Participate in daily team debrief to share wins, troubleshoot challenges, and sharpen technique

What We're Looking For

Required Skills

Sales ability first. This is not an entry-level role. You either have closed deals before or have genuine confidence that you can.
Comfort with door-to-door contact and rejection. You will get doors closed in your face. That's the job.
Strong communication and people reading skills. You need to make a first impression and build quick rapport.
Reliability and accountability. You show up, you do the work, you own your numbers.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. You're covering assigned territory.

Background That Works

Prior door-to-door, field sales, or in-home sales experience (pest control, solar, security, utilities, home services, etc.)
Athletics or competitive background. We prefer people who understand winning, tracking metrics, and pushing themselves.
Hospitality (servers, bartenders, hosts). You already know how to read people and handle pressure.
Fitness enthusiasts. If you already love group fitness, leading a class, or pushing hard in a team environment, you're aligned with our member base.

What Disqualifies

No demonstrated sales ability and no willingness to learn
Can't commit to daily door-to-door activity
History of misrepresenting data or numbers
Dishonesty or taking shortcuts with compliance and accuracy

Compensation & Earning Potential

Base Pay: $15/hour Commission: $50 per membership closed (sign-up + first payment)

Earning Examples

2 closures per week: $15/hr (hourly base) + $400/week commission = $555-$705/week depending on hours
4 closures per week: base + $800/week commission = $955-$1,205/week
6 closures per week: base + $1,200/week commission = $1,355-$1,605/week

Opportunity: With presale pacing of 24+ members per week across the team, individual closures compound quickly. Top performers in similar door-to-door roles average $1,500-$3,000+ per week during peak season.

Team Support You'll have daily coaching from management, proven sales frameworks (H.E.L.P. methodology), battle-tested pitch decks, and a team that celebrates wins together. You're not alone out there.

Day-to-Day Rhythm

Morning Standup (15-30 min) Review targets, review yesterday's feedback, share coaching tips, set daily activity goals.

Territory Work (4-6 hours minimum) Knock doors, conduct pitches, close deals, log activity in CRM, build your pipeline.

Follow-Up & Admin (30 min) Document prospect info, prepare for callbacks, clean up notes for your next session.

Weekly Debrief (Friday) Review pace, identify what's working, adjust approach, celebrate top performers.

How We Measure Success

Daily Activity: Minimum 100-150 doors knocked per full shift
Weekly Contacts: Target 30+ meaningful conversations per week
Conversion Rate: Goal is 20%+ conversation-to-close rate (4-6 closures per 20 contacts)
Deal Quality: Clean signups with accurate info; no false or inflated conversions
Reliability: Show up on time, commit to schedule, execute the daily plan
