Business Intelligence Analysts

Join our team as a Healthcare Business Intelligence Analyst, where you will play a pivotal role in leveraging advanced data analytics tools and platforms to unlock valuable insights within the realm of healthcare. This position focuses on utilizing Python, SQL, Azure Machine Learning, Power BI, and Power Apps to extract, analyze, and visualize healthcare data, with a primary emphasis on advancing cancer research. 1. Data Analysis and Reporting:

Utilize Python and SQL to extract, clean, and transform healthcare data.
Apply Azure Machine Learning tools and techniques for comprehensive data analysis.

Develop and manage healthcare-related applications using Power Apps.

2. Project Collaboration:

Collaborate cross-functionally to analyze healthcare data and provide actionable insights.

Drive business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers. Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to drive insights into business performance. Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems. Use analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks, and profits of new business initiatives. Communicate findings and insight to stakeholders and provide business strategy recommendations for optimizing business performance. Provide reporting solutions and respond to ad-hoc report requests across multiple business areas. May participate in the design and development of business intelligence reporting tools. Requires basic skill set and proficiency. Conducts work assignments as directed. Closely supervised with little latitude for independent judgment.

Minimum Qualifications

Business Intelligence Analyst, III: Requires a bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 6 years or a master’s (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience.

Preferences

Proficiency in Python for data analysis.
Strong SQL querying abilities.
Hands-on experience with Azure Machine Learning.
Competency in creating dynamic data visualizations using Power BI.
Familiarity with developing applications through Power Apps.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum of two years practical experience in data analysis, or equivalent research exposure.
