Are you a Medical Assistant who enjoys variety, meaningful patient interactions, and being part of a team that delivers healthcare in a more personal way?We're looking for a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing mobile primary care team.In this unique hybrid role, you'll work alongside an experienced provider, helping deliver high-quality healthcare directly to patients in their homes, assisted living communities, and other residential settings throughout Salt Lake, Davis, and Utah Counties.Approximately 40% of your time will be spent providing direct patient support in the field, while 60% will be spent working remotely from home completing documentation, chart preparation, care coordination support, patient communication, and other administrative healthcare responsibilities.Every day is different. You'll build meaningful relationships with patients, support a collaborative care team, and enjoy the variety and flexibility that comes with mobile healthcare - all while helping improve the patient experience.
What You'll Do
- Travel with the provider to patient visits in homes, assisted living communities, and other residential settings.
- Welcome patients, assist with intake, and help create a comfortable and professional experience.
- Obtain and document vital signs, medication lists, health histories, and other patient information.
- Assist the provider during patient visits, examinations, and procedures as needed.
- Prepare charts, review patient information, and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
- Enter patient information and clinical documentation into the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Assist with patient communication, follow-up coordination, and care management tasks.
- Communicate professionally with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare facilities.
- Complete documentation, chart preparation, and administrative healthcare tasks remotely from your home office.
- Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, and high standards of service.
- Support a positive, compassionate, and organized patient experience.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a dependable, organized, and compassionate Medical Assistant who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is excited about supporting patients in a non-traditional healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) preferred, or equivalent hands-on clinical experience.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to efficiently navigate EMR systems, accurately enter patient information, type clinical notes, manage electronic communication, and complete remote administrative tasks independently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with documentation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a provider.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Salt Lake, Davis, and Utah Counties.
- Comfortable driving in all seasons, including winter weather conditions.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid role that includes both mobile patient support and remote documentation from a home office.
- Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality while working remotely.
- Ability to maintain a professional home workspace with reliable internet access for completing documentation and communication.

Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
- Experience in primary care, geriatrics, assisted living, specialty clinics, or community healthcare.
- Experience working with medically complex patients or older adults.
- Experience assisting providers with examinations and procedures.
- Experience with electronic medical records and healthcare technology.
- Experience in care coordination, referrals, or patient follow-up.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay: $24–$30 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
