Full Job Description

Work Schedule – Ad Hoc / On-Call:
This is an on-call, as-needed position, meaning there is no guaranteed full-time or fixed weekly schedule. Employees are contacted when staffing support is required and are expected to work based on the Government's operational needs and their availability. Work hours may vary depending on workload and project requirements.

Position: General Clerk III

Location: 3176 Corporal Johnson Rd, San Antonio, TX 78234, United States

Client: Medical Education and Training Campus - METC

Job Type: On-Site (100% – No Remote/Telework) - Ad/hoc - on call

SCA Hourly Pay Rate: Base pay $18.73/hr + (Health & Welfare) $5.09/hour = Total $23.82/hr

Important Work Requirement

This is a fully onsite role (100%) — no remote or telework allowed
Candidates must be comfortable working onsite daily
Role is building-specific — no need to travel across multiple buildings

Qualifications:

The following educational, experience requirements are mandatory for these Administrative and Clerical Support positions:

Education: High school diploma or GED certificate required.
Experience: Contractor personnel shall have a minimum of two (2) years of administrative support experience

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Clerical Support

Perform administrative and clerical tasks involving data entry and retrieval across multiple IT systems
Prepare reports, summaries, charts, and statistics from various data sources
Maintain daily activity logs and submit electronically to METC OPS Division Managers and COR
Ensure confidentiality of records and logs at all times

Front Desk & Access Control

Manage front desk operations for assigned building
Review visitor requests and issue/program badges
Input visitor details into visitor management systems
Receive and assist all incoming personnel
Answer facility phone calls and log all activities

Customer Support & Coordination

Direct visitors and staff to appropriate departments, staff, or classrooms
Assist with routine inquiries and procedural guidance
Verify credentials and enforce visitor control procedures (badges, sign-in, escorts)

Reporting & Recordkeeping

Prepare incident reports and logs
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Track and manage work orders
Coordinate with other departments for data collection and reporting

Inventory & Tracking Support

Assist in tracking materials, publications, and equipment

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
