We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care while helping ensure the smooth, efficient operation of our office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional patient care and patient management.
Prepare, equip, and stock operatories for patient treatment.
Take digital dental X-rays.
Must be certified in coronal polishing and pit and fissure sealants, and perform these procedures as permitted by Texas regulations.
Maintain dental equipment, instruments, and supplies.
Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including root canals, extractions, dentures, partials, implants, and other restorative and surgical treatments.
Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming, and professional environment for patients and their families.

Required Qualifications

Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Current Texas certification in Coronal Polishing.
Current Texas certification in Pit and Fissure Sealants.
Experience with digital radiography (X-rays).
Strong communication and patient care skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Computer proficiency and outstanding interpersonal skills are a must. Must be able to work some late afternoons (sometimes until 6:30 or 7 PM).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34.0 – 40.0 per week
