We have multiple vacancies throughout the County. The County Fire AO Program was established in 2014. It has grown to become home to 138 single-function ambulance operators (half of which are paramedics), making SBCoFD the largest fire district provider of ambulance transport in the country. Applicants must posses ALL of the following: Valid California Paramedic License OR Nationally Registered Paramedic (NRP) Certification.
