Full Job Description

Well known and established Radiology clinic seeking experienced and well-rounded Full Time MRI Technologist. The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and diagnostic accuracy. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills in a fast-paced clinical environment.

DUAL MRI/CT or PET TECHNOLOGIST a plus!

Responsibilities:

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and other imaging modalities if possible.

Education & Licensure

High School graduate.
Must have current ARRT for (R) (MR) -- license required.
Must have and maintain current license/certification for Radiology Technologist, CPR (BLS) and Venipuncture certification.

Work Experience

Minimum 1 year work experience with MRI modality (IE: Siemens)
Experience in an outpatient Radiology clinical setting preferred.

Specific Skills Desired:

Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within prescribed exam times and follow all imaging protocols.
Must possess understanding of the functionality of medical office operations, radiation safety, patient safety, desired patient through-put while providing optimal patient care, and consideration for patient's circumstances, preferably in outpatient radiology.
Ability to adhere to company personnel policies and practices including attendance and punctuality requirements.
Complies with all applicable policies, rules and regulations as outlined by company, State and Federal regulations including compliance with HIPAA privacy and security.
Ability to maintain a calm and courteous demeanor and conduct business in a professional manner.
