HIRING FOR PANTRY COOKS POSITION! 2+ Years Experience!!

PM Pantry Cooks needed immediately at Bully's East Restaurant. 2401 Camino Del Rio S., San Diego, CA 92108

Job brief

We are looking for PM PANTRY COOKS. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals. If you can saute, grill, make salads we would really like to talk with you!

Responsibilities

Accurately and efficiently cook any steaks, fish, vegetables, and other hot food products as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates.
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables or preparing sauces)
Prep food items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Answer, report and follow executive chef’s instructions
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Requirements

2+ Years Experience as Pantry Cook or Saute Cook!
Saute, grill cooking experience.
Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiar with industry’s best practices'

Physical Requirements

● Bending

● Kneeling

● Able to stand for a period of time

● Reaching overhead, in front of you, to either side of you.

● Able to lift 25 pounds.
