Join our dynamic fitness team as a Group Fitness Coach and Personal Trainer, where your passion for health and wellness will inspire clients to achieve their best. In this energetic role, you will lead engaging group fitness classes and provide personalized training programs that motivate, educate, and empower individuals of all fitness levels. Duties
- Lead diverse group fitness classes such as yoga, Pilates, cycling, CrossFit, dance-based workouts, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT), ensuring proper technique and safety.
- Design customized personal training programs tailored to clients’ goals, fitness levels, and health conditions.
- Demonstrate exercise routines with correct form and biomechanics, providing clear instructions and modifications as needed.
- Motivate clients through energetic coaching techniques, fostering a supportive atmosphere that encourages progress and confidence.
- Conduct assessments of clients’ anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and movement patterns to inform program design.
- Ensure safety by applying manual handling techniques, first aid procedures, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and adhering to health club safety protocols.
- Maintain excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their progress and addressing their questions or concerns.
- Stay current with industry trends such as sports coaching, biomechanics, functional training, yoga instruction, Pilates teaching, and cycling techniques to enhance class offerings.
- Support gym operations by managing equipment setup, cleaning workout areas, and promoting membership sales through fitness consultations.
Experience
- Proven experience in delivering group fitness classes across multiple disciplines including yoga, Pilates, cycling, CrossFit or dance-based workouts.
- Demonstrated success in personal training with a focus on client motivation and achievement of fitness goals.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, body mechanics and exercise science principles essential for safe coaching.
- Certifications in CPR/AED (American Heart Association or equivalent), First Aid are required; additional certifications such as NASM or ACE personal trainer credentials are preferred.
- Familiarity with gym equipment operation including weights and heavy lifting techniques; experience with manual handling is advantageous.
- Prior work experience within a health club environment or sports coaching setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills coupled with a passion for teaching exercise routines that inspire clients to reach their full potential.

Pay: $20.00 - $55.00 per hour
