Automotive F&I Manager

Siry Auto is seeking an experienced, ethical, and results-driven Automotive Finance & Insurance Manager to lead the finance process at our San Diego dealership.

This position is intended for a proven automotive F&I professional who understands how to maximize dealership profitability while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction, lender compliance, accurate documentation, and strong funding performance.

The ideal candidate can confidently structure challenging deals, present protection products professionally, maintain productive lender relationships, and move customers through the finance process efficiently without sacrificing accuracy or transparency.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the complete automotive finance and insurance process from deal submission through funding
Review customer credit applications and structure deals based on lender programs and dealership objectives
Submit applications to banks, credit unions, and automotive finance companies
Secure competitive approvals and negotiate deal terms with lenders
Present financing options and protection products clearly and professionally
Sell vehicle service contracts, GAP coverage, maintenance plans, and other eligible F&I products
Ensure every transaction complies with federal, state, lender, and dealership requirements
Verify contracts, disclosures, signatures, identification, insurance, stipulations, and supporting documents
Maintain accurate deal jackets and resolve missing documentation before delivery
Track contracts in transit and follow up on outstanding lender stipulations
Reduce funding delays, contract errors, chargebacks, unwinds, and compliance exposure
Work closely with sales managers and sales representatives to improve deal structure and closing performance
Maintain strong relationships with dealership lenders and finance partners
Provide customers with an efficient, transparent, and professional delivery experience

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as an automotive dealership F&I Manager, Finance Manager, or equivalent dealership finance professional
Strong knowledge of indirect automotive lending and dealership finance procedures
Demonstrated ability to structure prime, near-prime, and subprime automotive transactions
Experience presenting and selling F&I protection products
Working knowledge of retail installment sale contracts, lender stipulations, compliance documentation, and funding requirements
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple active deals in a fast-paced dealership environment
Professional communication, negotiation, and customer-service skills
High level of integrity, accountability, and discretion when handling sensitive customer information
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to work Saturdays and dealership hours as required

Preferred Qualifications

Established relationships with automotive lenders and credit unions
Experience with DealerCenter, Dealertrack, RouteOne, CUDL, or similar automotive finance platforms
Knowledge of California dealership documentation and compliance requirements
Experience managing contracts in transit, lender audits, chargebacks, and funding exceptions
Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills
Verifiable record of strong product penetration, gross profit, funding efficiency, and customer satisfaction
