SUMMARY:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Electro/Mechanical Assembler is responsible for completing manufacturing assignments as directed by the Production Supervisor or Manager. Typical duties and tasks to be completed in compliance with the requirements of Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) per current GMP’s, QSR and company policies and procedures.
- Establish good relationships with fellow colleagues in order to work in a team environment.
- Coordinate their work tasks to effectively meet the daily production output requirements.
- Develop a systematic way of ensuring a consistent level of quality and output.
- Manage the workspace to comply with the 6S process.
- Assembly medical devices as per manufacturing instructions
- Input into ERP system hours worked and any operational information for the work orders.
- Follow all Quality System procedures related to this job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers.
- And other duties as assigned.
Travel Required: (minimal, moderate, extensive) – Minimal <5%.
Education and/or Experience
Level I
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, assembly drawings, short correspondence and emails. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
MINIMUM
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

- Automatic & Semi-automatic electronic measuring/analysis equipment
- Soldering equipment
- Small hand tools; including tweezers, clamps, cutting tools, solder guns, etc.
- Appropriate PPE/clothing for medical device manufacturing clean room environment
- Other equipment as necessary to support manufacturing operations
