Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including order processing, material handling, inventory management, and shipping activities. This role ensures that customer orders are processed accurately and fulfilled on time while maintaining organized inventory and efficient warehouse workflows.

Key Responsibilities
Order Processing
- Process and manage customer orders through platforms such as Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, SPS Commerce, Ariba, CommerceHub and NowCommerce.
- Review incoming orders to verify accuracy, product availability, and shipping requirements.
- Enter and update order information in internal systems and order management platforms.
- Monitor order status and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Prepare order documentation, shipping labels, and related paperwork.
Warehouse Operations
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders based on packing slips or system-generated instructions.
- Assist with unloading inbound deliveries and preparing outbound shipments.
- Support the unloading, sorting, and organization of goods from inbound container shipments.
- Palletize, store, and retrieve goods following FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory procedures.
- Stage and prepare completed orders for shipment with carriers.
Material Handling
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Transport products between receiving, storage, and shipping areas.
- Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage and report discrepancies.
Inventory Management
- Participate in regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse systems.
- Monitor stock levels and notify management when inventory is low or when discrepancies occur.
- Assist in maintaining proper product labeling and storage organization.
Teamwork & Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors to maintain smooth workflow.
- Support colleagues when needed and contribute to a respectful, positive work environment.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior warehouse, order processing, or material handling experience mandatory
Skills
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
· Strong teamwork and communication skills.
· Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365) strongly preferred
· Forklift operating experience strongly preferred
· Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), QuickBooks, EDI platforms, and order management systems is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
