Plating Lead & Kitchen Associate
Employment type: part-time with growth to full time
Pay: $25/hr
Schedule:
Sunday: 10am-2:30pm
Monday-Wednesday: 7am-3pm
Are you a numbers and logistics driven person who enjoys a good puzzle? Do you want to join a team that is fun, goal oriented, and also has high standards?
Good news! The Cupboard is an organic meal subscription service delivering to families across the Bay Area. We prepare ready-to-heat meals for 60+ families each week, using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and reusable glassware containers.
We’re a women-led company seeking a detail-oriented Kitchen Associate to join our team.
This role ensures that every meal leaving our kitchen is plated beautifully, labeled correctly, and packed with care. Our clients trust us to deliver meals with exceptional quality and presentation, and this role ensures that the last step is flawless —organizing, labeling, plating, and leading packout so that our clients receive their correct order.
The right fit will be a detailed oriented person, strong ability to recall specific information, and proficient at keeping track of moving pieces.
Daily tasks include, not limited to, picking herbs, labeling client containers, thoughtfully plating client dishes/containers, organizing containers for client deliveries, assisting with kitchen cleaning or organization tasks.
We're a small team and everyone helps whoever or wherever needed. We believe no task is beneath anyone, and we hire people who take pride in contributing towards our shared goals.
