Pet Camp Ranger Station is hiring experienced dog handlers to join our specialized canine behavior and enrichment program. We provide individualized enrichment, behavior support, and structured social experiences for dogs with a wide range of personalities and needs that other traditional dog daycares may not be able to provide.

What You'll Do
- Supervise curated dog playgroups and one-on-one interactions
- Read and interpret canine body language
- Monitor group dynamics and identify early signs of stress or conflict
- Help dogs build confidence and improve social skills
- Implement enrichment activities and behavior-focused exercises
- Support individualized care plans
- Communicate observations and progress updates to clients and team members
- Maintain a safe, positive environment for dogs and staff
Required Qualifications
- Professional experience working with dogs in a daycare, boarding, training, veterinary, shelter, rescue, or similar environment
- Strong understanding of canine body language and behavior
- Ability to safely handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Excellent observation and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to animal welfare and safety
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional dog handling experience
- Experience working with behaviorally complex dogs
- Dog training experience are not required but highly desired
- Veterinary, shelter, or rescue experience is not required but very helpful
- Coursework or certifications related to canine behavior or training are not required but helpful.
