Overview
The Pacific-Union Club is seeking a dependable, professional Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. This is an opportunity to work within one of San Francisco's most prestigious private clubs, ensuring the Club operates safely, securely, and efficiently throughout the overnight hours while providing exceptional hospitality to members, guests, and overnight visitors.
Working collaboratively with minimal supervision, the Night Auditor serves as the Club's primary overnight customer service professional. This position combines front desk operations, accounting and night audit responsibilities, property security, and member service while helping maintain the professionalism, discretion, and hospitality that define one of the world's most respected private clubs.
Responsibilities
- Perform nightly accounting and audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and daily reconciliation.
- Welcome members and guests while providing exceptional overnight guest services.
- Answer telephones, manage reservations, process guest room check-ins and check-outs, cover breaks, answer doors, move vehicles, and respond promptly to member and guest requests.
- Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the Club, ensuring that only authorized individuals access the property.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies, alarms, medical incidents, and other overnight operational situations in accordance with Club procedures.
- Assist members and guests with luggage, deliveries, transportation needs, vendor access, and other operational requests.
- Support overnight clubhouse operations, including facility resets following Club events and preparing the Club for the following business day.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications and Club management software to complete administrative, accounting, and operational responsibilities.
- Support exceptional member and guest experiences through professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and outstanding hospitality.
Qualifications
- One year of experience in hospitality, hotels, private clubs, guest services, front desk operations, or a related customer service environment preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Professional communication skills in English.
- Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn Club management software.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others while exercising sound judgment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive member and Club information.
- Valid California driver's license preferred.
- Flexible availability, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment
- Combination of standing, walking, and seated desk work throughout overnight shifts.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of luggage, deliveries, and supplies up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent interaction with members, guests, vendors, and employees.
- Overnight environment requiring independent decision-making, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
- Responsibility for supporting the safety, security, and operational readiness of the Club during overnight hours.
Schedule
This position requires flexibility based on Club needs. Overnight shifts typically begin at approximately 11:30 p.m. and conclude at approximately 8:00 a.m. Shifts may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Full availability is expected unless otherwise agreed to in writing by the General Manager.

Compensation
Competitive hourly wage of $33.00 per hour.
