About us

INTERCEPTOR Legal Support Service, Inc. is an Alameda County Certified Small Local Emerging Business (SLEB) in Oakland, CA founded in 1983. We are a comprehensive legal support service that provides process of service, e-filings/e-recordings, court services, subpoena/photocopy services, writ services and more. Here at Interceptor we pride ourselves on being a small and hands on service, who will handle all cases with a personal touch.

Our work environment includes:

Modern office setting
Office dog (Her name is Betty!)
Work Station provided for Contractors
Flexible schedules and hours
Semi-Annual Training and review of all applicable laws for our Contractors
Text/Email communication as necessary, mobile app coming soon.
Prompt Payment for completed jobs every two weeks.

Duties:
-Serve papers per the terms of service, routine attempts every 2-3x per week, 4 attempts total. Prices range from $35 -$50 per resolution of paper depending on area and priority level. Need coverage for San Francisco and San Mateo counties.
- Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all legal activities

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal procedures
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Current Process Server Registration and Bond

-Valid Drivers License and Auto Insurance

-Bilingual is preferred but not required

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
