Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Auto Body Technician and bring expert craftsmanship to vehicle repair and restoration! In this role, you'll be responsible for performing high-quality auto body repairs, structural alignments, and cosmetic refinishing to ensure vehicles are restored to their original condition. Your skills will help clients regain confidence in their vehicles while maintaining safety and aesthetics. We are looking for motivated professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a keen eye for detail, and are passionate about automotive repair.

Duties

Perform automotive structural repairs, including frame straightening and sheet metal work using automotive welding equipment such as MIG welding and soldering tools.
Conduct auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal fabrication using hand tools and power tools.
Apply automotive cosmetic repairs such as sanding, auto painting with airless paint spraying equipment, and automotive refinishing techniques to achieve a flawless finish.
Install automotive parts including auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision.
Utilize fabrication repair techniques to create custom parts or modify existing components for optimal fit and function.
Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks related to collision repair, auto restoration projects, and general automotive repair needs.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications while providing excellent customer service through clear communication about repairs and timelines.

Qualifications

Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or collision center environment.
Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and automotive cosmetic repair techniques.
Proficiency with MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and fabrication methods essential for structural and sheet metal work.
Familiarity with auto painting processes including airless paint spraying and finishing techniques.
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment safely and effectively.
Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems to assist with auto parts installation and vehicle maintenance tasks.
Experience with auto estimating software is a plus but not required.
Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift heavy objects safely during heavy lifting tasks.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about repair processes.
