Job Summary
RCCG Faith Arena is seeking skilled, dependable musicians to join our Worship Ministry Team. We are currently hiring keyboardists, pianists, drummers, and guitarists to provide musical support during worship services, rehearsals, church programs, conferences, and special events.
This is a ministry-focused position within a Christian church. Successful candidates must demonstrate musical excellence, reliability, teamwork, professionalism, a service-minded attitude, and the ability to support worship in both structured and spontaneous settings.

Applicants who play more than one instrument should identify their primary instrument. Guitarists should indicate whether they primarily play acoustic or electric guitar.
Regular Schedule
Sunday Worship Service:
- Every Sunday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Musicians must arrive by 9:00 AM and remain available for the full service period
Weekly Rehearsal:
- Every Saturday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Regular attendance and active participation are required
Additional services, conferences, church programs, and special events may occasionally require participation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide musical accompaniment during worship services, rehearsals, and church events.
- Attend and actively participate in weekly rehearsals.
- Prepare assigned songs and musical arrangements in advance.
- Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled services, rehearsals, and events.
- Follow musical direction and respond appropriately to cues from the worship leader.
- Support both planned arrangements and spontaneous or free-flowing worship.
- Work effectively with singers, worship leaders, fellow musicians, and sound-team personnel.
- Adjust tempo, dynamics, transitions, and musical intensity as needed.
- Maintain consistent attendance and communicate scheduling conflicts promptly.
- Provide at least 48 hours’ notice for planned absences unless an emergency occurs.
- Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and conduct appropriate for a Christian ministry environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in keyboard, piano, drums, or guitar.
- Ability to perform contemporary worship, gospel, praise, and worship music.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Dependability, punctuality, preparation, and willingness to receive direction.
- Reliable transportation to the church in San Jacinto.
- Ability to meet the stated Sunday and Saturday schedule consistently.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to play by ear.
- Previous church or worship-team experience.
- Ability to follow chord charts, musical arrangements, or live worship-leader cues.
- Experience responding to changes in song structure, tempo, key, dynamics, or ending.
- Experience supporting spontaneous worship settings.
Ministry Requirements
Because this is a ministry-facing position within a Christian church, candidates must:
- Be willing to complete church membership classes.
- Support and respect the church’s Christian beliefs, mission, and ministry values.
- Maintain conduct consistent with serving in a Christian ministry environment.
- Understand that baptism by immersion is preferred.
- Be willing to attend baptism classes if they have not been baptized.
Attendance Expectations
- Arrive by 9:00 AM every Sunday.
- Attend Saturday rehearsals beginning at 2:00 PM.
- Provide at least 48 hours’ notice for planned absences unless an emergency occurs.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
Fit-for-Duty and Conduct Standards
- Employees must not report to rehearsals, worship services, church events, or ministry activities under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or any substance that impairs performance.
- Illegal drug use is strictly prohibited.
- Smoking, vaping, and tobacco use are not permitted on church property or during ministry activities.
- Drug or alcohol testing may be required where permitted by applicable law.
- Employees must demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and conduct consistent with Christian ministry standards.
Compensation
$18.00–$21.00 per hour.
