About the Company

Pro Structural, Inc. (PSI) is an established commercial contractor specializing in structural masonry with a growing commercial concrete division. PSI builds Federal military, public works, industrial, educational, and other commercial projects throughout California.

Job Overview - Lead Operations. Build Excellence.

We are seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee the day-to-day performance of our Commercial Concrete Division. This is a hands-on executive leadership role for someone who thrives on building efficient operations, leading construction teams, and delivering successful projects. The Vice President of Concrete Operations will oversee all aspects of project execution while working closely with ownership to ensure the continued growth and success of the division.

Duties

Lead the day-to-day operations of the Commercial Concrete Division.
Oversee Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel.
Ensure projects are properly staffed, scheduled, and equipped for success.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, labor productivity, and overall performance.
Conduct regular project reviews and implement corrective actions when needed.
Allocate manpower and equipment across multiple projects.
Drive operational efficiency and continuous process improvement.
Recruit, hire, and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel.
Establish clear performance expectations and accountability throughout the division.
Foster a culture centered on safety, teamwork, quality, and operational excellence.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Review division financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
Collaborate with estimating during the bid process and at the time of project handoff to ensure smooth project transitions.
Work closely with accounting, HR, safety, and equipment management to support successful project execution.
Provide ownership with recommendations regarding staffing, equipment, operational improvements, and long-term resource planning.
Visit job sites as required.

Requirements

10+ years of experience managing commercial concrete construction projects.
5+ years of progressive leadership experience overseeing multiple project teams.
ACI Certified.
Proven experience managing Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen.
Strong understanding of commercial concrete construction, scheduling, manpower planning, and project execution.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large commercial projects simultaneously.
Experience overseeing division budgets, productivity, and operational performance.
Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Procore experience preferred.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with Spanish speaking ability as a plus.
Valid California driver's license.
Must be willing to submit to a background check and motor vehicle report history prior to employment
