Job Summary

Join a Growing Commercial Painting Company

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and self-motivated Shop & Logistics Coordinator to keep our field operations running efficiently.

This is a hands-on position responsible for managing our shop, inventory, materials, deliveries, and equipment while supporting multiple commercial painting crews throughout the Bay Area.

What You'll Do: Shop Operations

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse/shop.
Organize paint, tools, equipment, ladders, lifts, and supplies.
Keep inventory properly labeled and stored.
Ensure crews can quickly locate materials and equipment.

Inventory & Purchasing

Track inventory levels and perform regular inventory counts.
Order paint, materials, and shop supplies as needed.
Monitor stock levels and prevent shortages.
Coordinate with project managers and superintendents on upcoming material needs.

Deliveries & Logistics

Deliver paint, materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
Pick up materials from Sherwin-Williams and other vendors.
Retrieve equipment and unused materials from completed projects.
Assist crews with urgent deliveries when needed.

Equipment & Fleet

Inspect returned equipment and report damage or repair needs.
Help maintain company vehicles and keep them clean and organized.
Track equipment locations and ensure accountability.

Team Support

Assist field crews with logistical needs.
Support project managers by ensuring jobs have the materials they need.
Maintain delivery and inventory records.
Follow all company safety procedures.

Qualifications

Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Previous construction, painting, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
Forklift experience is a plus (training available).
Strong organizational skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Basic computer and smartphone skills.
Professional communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
Load and unload tools and materials.
Stand, bend, walk, climb, and perform physical work throughout the day.
Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Compensation & Growth

Starting Pay
$25.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on experience, during the introductory training period.

Performance-Based Increase
Following the successful completion of the 90-day introductory period, employees who demonstrate the ability to independently perform the responsibilities of the position may be eligible for an increase of up to $30.00 per hour. Wage increases are based on performance, reliability, attendance, and business needs and are not guaranteed.
