Tax Senior

Location: Campbell, CA (San Jose Area)
Position Type: Full-Time | Hybrid Eligible (After initial evaluation)
Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 (Depending on experience)

We are a growing, elite 13-person public accounting and consulting firm comprised of Big Four and national firm alumni. We believe that public accounting is "not just about the numbers," and we pride ourselves on giving our clients exceptional service, integrity, and absolute confidence. We maintain a highly supportive culture with hands-on training, an easy-going 55-hour limit during the busy season, and loose scheduling out of season.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Tax Senior with 5+ years of experience to join our tight-knit team. This is a brilliant opportunity for a high-performing associate or senior currently at a larger national or regional firm who wants a strong, sustainable work-life balance without sacrificing the complexity of their work. This role focuses deeply on execution and client engagement, meaning you will face clients early on, though you will not be responsible for the final review of other team members' work.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Preparation: Prepare complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and closely-held entities.
Client Engagement: Interact directly with clients to gather data, provide progress updates, and answer foundational compliance questions.
Collaboration: Partner closely with managers and directors to meet deadline schedules and map out dynamic tax strategies.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of dedicated public accounting tax experience.
Credentials: Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) status is highly preferred; eligibility to sit for the CPA exam will also be considered.
Background: Prior experience coming out of a mid-tier regional or larger national public accounting firm is highly desirable.
