We are a rapidly growing criminal defense firm committed to protecting the rights of our clients across California — and we're looking for a passionate, driven Entry-Level Litigation Attorney to join our team.
This is a hands-on litigation role. From day one, you'll be in the courtroom, drafting motions, and standing beside clients when it matters most. If you thrive under pressure, communicate with clarity and confidence, and want to build a meaningful litigation career — this is your opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Would be responsible for the majority of Firm’s Infraction cases, as well as be assigned to work with senior attorneys on Misdemeanors and Felonies
- Represent clients in criminal defense matters across California counties focusing on infractions
- Draft motions, briefs, and legal correspondence
- Appear in court hearings and trials across multiple jurisdictions
- Work collaboratively with senior attorneys on case strategy
- Communicate directly and compassionately with clients throughout their cases
Required Qualifications:
- Active California State Bar license (in good standing)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills — you connect easily with people from all walks of life
- Willingness to travel to court in various California counties
- A commitment to criminal defense and client advocacy
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
- Criminal defense internship or clinic experience
- Familiarity with California criminal procedure
- Experience with legal case management software
Compensation & Benefits:
$80,000 – $90,000 annually, plus travel reimbursement and professional development support.
Work Schedule: Mondays thru Fridays, standard working hours
In addition to the firm’s standard working days and hours, the schedule for this position will also adjust as needed based on court calendars, hearing dates, filing deadlines, and other case-related requirements.
Flexibility is essential, as court appearances and litigation demands may occasionally require work outside regular business hours.
