Director of Corporate Services

About the Opportunity

With offices in key metro areas, a distributed international workforce of several hundred employees, and a collaborative leadership team that values operational excellence, we are a company where senior contributors can make a real and lasting impact.

As we continue to grow and evolve our global operating model - including consolidation of cross-entity processes and deeper alignment between regional and international headquarters - we are looking for a senior operations generalist who thrives at the intersection of governance, administration, and people leadership.

The Role

The Director of Corporate Services is a high-trust, high-visibility position reporting directly to senior executive leadership. This role exists to centralize and elevate the operational backbone of the company - taking ownership of corporate governance, policy compliance, facilities oversight, vendor relationships, benefits administration, and international coordination. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants broad organizational impact, exposure to executive decision-making, and a career path that can grow into a trusted member of the management team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Governance, Risk & Policy

- Enforce the company's Delegation of Authority (DoA) framework across purchases, travel, and expense approvals - ensuring adherence at all levels and following up diplomatically with policy outliers

Monitor, review, and audit employee expense submissions through internal tools; work with managers to address non-compliance proactively
Own the annual corporate insurance renewal process, including working directly with brokers to assess coverage and mitigate risk
Serve as an active member of the corporate 401(k) fiduciary committee, overseeing plan compliance and performance reviews
Participate in the annual healthcare benefits renewal cycle, evaluating options and helping shape the program strategy
Manage day-to-day relationship and deliverables with the external export compliance consultant, ensuring regulatory alignment

International Coordination

Act as a liaison between the US entity and international holding entities on administrative and legal coordination matters, including trademark renewals, patent coordination, and IP processing workflows

- Coordinate with international teams to align on evolving policies and consolidating procedures across regions - including navigating organizational dynamics across global entities with tact and clarity

Support the CAO and executive team in cross-entity projects that require domestic and international coordination

Facilities & Workplace Experience

Directly supervise and develop the Workplace Experience Coordinator, holding the team accountable for office readiness, event coordination, and daily operations
Review and approve facility budgets, service level agreements, and workplace initiatives presented by the coordinator
Serve as the primary escalation point for high-value vendor negotiations, master service agreements, and building management issues
Ensure office safety protocols, emergency response plans, and physical security systems are current and aligned with corporate standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 6+ years of progressive experience in corporate operations, administration, or risk management - with at least 3 years managing or supervising a team

Practical experience overseeing corporate insurance programs, travel and expense policy enforcement, and benefits or retirement plan administration

- Proven ability to operate effectively within an international corporate structure - working across regions and aligning with headquarters-level entities on governance, legal, and administrative matters

Strong background in policy enforcement, compliance auditing, and Delegation of Authority frameworks
Demonstrated ability to manage external vendors, regulatory consultants, brokers, and complex service agreements

- Exceptional organizational skills - comfortable managing a wide and diverse portfolio of responsibilities simultaneously, prioritizing effectively without losing details

- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills - able to interact with all levels of the organization, from entry-level staff to C-suite executives, with professionalism and tact

- Self-directed and accountable - this role requires someone who can identify what needs to be done and do it without being micromanaged

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field required; MBA or Master's degree is a plus
