Responsibilities

About the Team TikTok's US Data Security Joint Venture (USDS JV) team is growing, and we're seeking an operationally strong HR Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this critical contract role, you'll deliver essential, frontline operational support across our client groups. You will serve as a partner for key HR processes, focusing on timekeeping systems for our hourly population, navigating background check compliance, and driving seamless onboarding experiences for both full-time employees and our contingent workforce. Responsibilities: - Serve as an operational point of contact for timekeeping tickets, resolving hourly population inquiries, and ensuring accurate tracking. - Facilitate and support the end-to-end onboarding process for new full-time employees and contingent workforce. - Receive and manage the new hire background check process by initiating and responding to requests with timely, accurate, and professional replies. - Summarize key updates, escalations, pain points, and knowledge gaps related to timekeeping, background checks, and general HR processes. - Maintain, adhere to, and assist in updating HR policies, procedures, and documentation. - Provide support on HR projects and administrative requests from key stakeholders, including process improvements, document management, and reporting. - Collaborate effectively with global and cross-functional HR stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - 1+ year of HR operational experience or HR related role. - Proven ability to work independently in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and multicultural environment handling competing priorities. - Strong collaborative partnership and communication skills to effectively resolve employee inquiries. - Exceptional attention to detail, learning agility, patience, and a strong sense of accountability. Preferred Qualifications: - 1+ years experience in background check workflows, timekeeping systems, HRIS, and employee onboarding. - Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a relevant field.
