Lab Assistant — IHC/ISH Manufacturing, R&D & Quality Control
Company: OmicsVeu
Location: Fremont, CA — On-site
Department: IHC/ISH Manufacturing & Quality Control Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shift
Compensation: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour, depending on experience.
About OmicsVeu: OmicsVeu develops and commercializes reagents, assays, and automated systems for molecular pathology — supporting tumor diagnosis, prognosis, precision medicine, and life science research worldwide.
The RoleYou will work hands-on with automated IHC/ISH staining platforms and the assays that run on them — the same systems and reagents OmicsVeu develops, validates, and ships to pathology labs worldwide.
As a Lab Assistant in our Fremont laboratory, you will support manufacturing, quality control, and product development: preparing slides and reagents, running IHC, ISH, and FISH assays manually and on automated stainers, performing QC testing, and keeping the lab running to SOP and safety standards.
Why is this role different. Most entry-level histology positions are service work — running a fixed menu on someone else's platform. Here, you sit on the development side of the instrument. You will see how staining protocols are built, validated, and troubleshot before they reach the clinical market, and you will validate automated-platform and IVD product experience that is difficult to acquire early in a histology career.
Compensation reflects experience. Candidates with prior hands-on IHC/ISH and automated stainer experience are compensated at the upper end of the posted range.
