Full Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and perform audit, review, and agreed-upon procedures engagements.
Prepare and review audit workpapers, financial statements, and related disclosures.
Evaluate internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
Perform risk assessments and develop audit programs.
Supervise, train, and mentor audit staff and review their work.
Ensure engagements comply with applicable professional standards (U.S. GAAS, AICPA Standards, and applicable accounting frameworks such as U.S. GAAP).
Identify accounting and auditing issues and recommend practical solutions.
Communicate engagement progress, findings, and recommendations to managers, partners, and clients.
Maintain strong client relationships by providing responsive, professional service.
Assist with engagement budgeting, scheduling, and meeting project deadlines.
Participate in business development activities and client proposals when requested.
Stay current on accounting, auditing, and regulatory developments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
CPA license preferred or actively pursuing CPA certification.
Minimum of 3–5 years of recent public accounting audit experience.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, and AICPA professional standards.
Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
Experience with audit software and accounting applications is preferred.
