Job Type: Full-Time
Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico (On-site)

About Us

We're a growing veterinary services company supporting four animal hospitals across the San Juan area. We're looking for a detail-oriented, experienced Bookkeeper to manage our financial operations across all locations and help keep our business running smoothly as we grow.

What You'll Do

Manage full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks across four veterinary hospital locations and the Home Office, including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
Consolidate and reconcile financials across multiple entities/locations, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Support payroll analysis, including reviewing payroll reports and reconciling payroll-related accounts
Assist with general administrative compliance tasks related to local (Puerto Rico) regulatory requirements, including coordinating with regulators, licensing bodies, and ensuring documentation is current
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for ownership/management review
Track and reconcile expenses, vendor invoices, and inter-company transactions between locations
Assist with budget tracking and cash flow monitoring across all sites
Maintain organized financial records and support external accountants/auditors as needed
Provide general administrative support to the home office as needed

What We're Looking For

3+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally supporting multiple business locations or entities
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop)
Experience with payroll processes and reconciliation
Familiarity with Puerto Rico local regulatory/compliance requirements is a strong plus (or willingness to learn quickly)
Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple locations
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
Experience in veterinary, medical, or healthcare services industry is a plus, but not required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
