Full Job Description

Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a large law firm in seeking a Commercial Contracts Attorney to join their team on a long-term, fully remote engagement.

Role Details

Start: ASAP
Duration: 6+ months
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Location: Fully remote
Pay Rate: Starting at $70/hour, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

Review, draft, negotiate, and revise a variety of commercial agreements, including:
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Engagement letters (both firm templates and client-provided forms)
- Vendor agreements
Handle both standardized, high-volume contract reviews and more complex agreement negotiations
Work directly with partners and business development professionals to facilitate timely contract execution
Manage contract workflow and ensure agreements move efficiently through the review and approval process
Identify contractual risks and recommend practical, business-focused solutions
Maintain organization and prioritize multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active license to practice law in the state where you reside, in good standing
3–5+ years of attorney experience, including commercial contract review and negotiation
Experience handling NDAs, engagement letters, vendor agreements, and other commercial contracts
Strong client service and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with attorneys and business professionals
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently in a remote environment
Experience with contract lifecycle management or contract workflow processes is preferred
