Full Job Description

Recruitment Officer – Talent Acquisition

General Summary of the Position

Will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition processes, from identifying staffing needs to hiring the selected candidate. This position coordinates hiring activities, maintains continuous communication with candidates and managers, and ensures an efficient and professional experience throughout the entire recruitment process.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage full-cycle recruitment and selection processes, ensuring a consistent, efficient, and high-quality experience throughout all stages of the process, from sourcing and evaluating candidates to onboarding newly hired employees.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify active and passive candidates through referrals, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other digital sourcing tools.
Post job openings on employment platforms, social media, and other recruitment channels, as well as participate in recruitment activities such as job fairs.
Review resumes and employment applications to identify qualified candidates.
Conduct initial phone screenings and support candidate evaluations.
Coordinate, schedule, and confirm interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Properly document recruitment and selection processes for audit and compliance purposes.
Maintain updated candidate records, databases, and applicant tracking systems, ensuring continuous monitoring of candidate status and hiring processes.
Prepare recruitment and Human Resources reports and metrics, including time-to-fill, quality of hire, talent sources, and other indicators to optimize efficiency and streamline hiring processes.
Manage onboarding and orientation processes for new employees.
Develop and maintain updated job descriptions.
Maintain confidentiality of employee information and documentation.
Collaborate on employee retention, training, and organizational development initiatives.
Maintain updated recruitment guidelines in compliance with regulatory changes.

Required Profile

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum of 4 years of experience in recruitment, currently working in recruitment and talent acquisition.
Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and applicable labor laws in Puerto Rico, especially regarding equal employment opportunity, discrimination, and hiring policies.
Experience managing compliance-focused processes, including ATS systems and digital recruitment tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, and other digital sourcing platforms).
Ability to develop innovative recruitment strategies and strengthen employer branding.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal or no supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High level of organization and attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), with strong emphasis on Excel for data analysis, metrics tracking, and efficient monitoring of candidates and recruitment and selection processes.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Ability to work collaboratively in dynamic environments.
Fully bilingual (Spanish and English), both verbal and written.
