Full Job Description

Ideal for ABA Master students seeking experience and clinical hours to become a BCBA.

Key Responsibilities

Receive mentorship from a Senior Clinical Supervisor, and the opportunity to receive restricted and unrestricted supervision hours
Execute ABA therapy programs under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Deliver a high-quality level of clinical ABA services via direct and mid-level clinical work
Assist supervising BCBA in conducting initial and ongoing assessments
Assist supervising BCBA in writing treatment plans and assessment reports
Record and manage accurate data on client progress
Work directly with clients, observing Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) and Natural Environmental Teaching (NET)
Will assist Center BCBA by preparing curriculum materials for the day: facilitate circle, art, language for learning, etc.
Complete all necessary paperwork and education requirements to comply with BACB and/or college requirements for advanced degrees (e.g., MA, MS) and certifications (e.g., BCaBA, BCBA).

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Master's program with ABA coursework.
Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours weekly
Experience working with children with developmental needs (preferred)
Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, sit, and run as needed.
Valid driver’s license
Must pass a criminal background check (Livescan DOJ & FBI)
Current TB clearance
Located near San Luis Obispo, CA
